Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader to run before- and after-school activities at multiple locations in Virginia. This role focuses on safe, structured activity and engaging students in World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.

You will lead groups, ensure safety, maintain an organized space, and foster inclusive, supportive environments. Prior experience with children and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

• Pay: 16.00 hourly
• Hours: Monday through Friday AM shift 6:30am-9:15am PM shift 3:30pm-6pm

In This Role, You Will

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Must have a high school diploma or GED,
• Must be at least 18 years old
• 6 months experience instructing children in a group setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
