Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking an Early Learning Group Leader to guide students through daily activities and maintain a safe, engaging environment at our California sites. This role emphasizes strong teamwork, active supervision, and building positive relationships with kids, families, and school staff.

Shifts run Mon-Fri, with no weekend work. Starting pay is $24 per hour, with a hiring bonus of $300.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 semester units or equivalent in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
