Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring a Group Leader to supervise students during before- and after-school programs at two California sites. The role emphasizes safety, structured activities, and engaging learners in World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 12 college units, and CPR/First Aid certification, with at least six months of childcare teaching experience. Weekend work is not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 semester units or equivalent from an accredited college/university.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds in a classroom setting.
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

2 Location(s): Rancho Romero Elementary School Alamo, CA and Creekside Elementary School, Danville, CA

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri (3 shifts available) and no weekends!

• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:
