Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in New Jersey is hiring for its Before & After School Programs as a Group Leader. You will lead groups of students through engaging daily activities, emphasizing safety and inclusion after school hours.

The role offers hands-on leadership experience with children, collaboration with school staff and families, and opportunities to grow within an energetic, student-centered program. Pay is $17/hour and hours are 7:00-8:45am & 2:45-6:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
