Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is hiring a Group Leader for our Before & After School Programs in Mt. Arlington. You will guide students through daily activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while prioritizing safety and a clean, welcoming space.

Ideal candidates are studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Recreation or Youth Development, with a High School diploma or equivalent and CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Hours: 7:00-8:30am & 2:45-6:30pm
