Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in Lyndhurst, NJ, is hiring a Group Leader for Roosevelt School's Before & After School Programs. The role focuses on guiding a group of students through engaging daily activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while maintaining a safe, structured environment.

You'll gain leadership experience working with children and collaborating with a dynamic team. Required: high school diploma, CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain), and ability to lift up

• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included

Looking to gain leadership experience while you're in school?

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
