Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is seeking an enthusiastic Before/After School Group Leader in Colorado Springs. You will supervise and guide groups of children, lead engaging activities, and partner with staff to create a safe, fun, and educational environment.

The role requires a minimum of 455 hours of experience with children and preferred Level 2 Colorado Shines ranking. Part-time benefits are available, including health insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 455 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+)
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations (verification of hours)
• Level 2 ranking on PDIS Colorado Shines

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of student explorers through activities in fitness, arts, technology, and more
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment fostering positive relationships among staff, children, and parents

AlphaBEST Education - Before/After School Group Leader

Location: Roosevelt Charter Academy - 205 South Byron Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80910

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am til start of school -AM shift and/or 2:00/2:30 pm - 6:00 pm PM shift

Here’s what you’ll need:

• A minimum of 455 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+) and be 18+ years old is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations (verification of hours)
• Level 2 ranking on PDIS Colorado Shines
