Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a proactive Group Leader for Castro Valley. You will guide students through daily curriculum activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while prioritizing child safety and a clean, organized environment.

The role emphasizes inclusivity, strong relationships with families and school staff, and collaboration with teammates in a structured after-school setting. Some experience in licensed childcare is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have 1 of the following: Associate's degree or higher, 48 semester college units, or ParaEducator Assistant Exam.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Pay: $22 to $23 per hour
Location: Castro Valley Elementary School
Hours: Mon to Fri and no weekends!
