Job summary

City Center YMCA in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Before & After School Care Assistant Group Supervisor to foster a safe, engaging environment for school-age children. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday split schedule (6:45 AM–8:30 AM and 3:00 PM–5:30 PM) and the chance to support children's growth and development.

• Knowledge of early childhood education, child development, or school-age programming.
• Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Mandated Reporter Certification or ability to obtain.
• Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications or ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, NSOR Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

The City Center YMCA is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Before & After School Care Assistant Group Supervisor to help create a safe, engaging environment for children during critical parts of their day. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday split schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's growth, development, and success.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

• Morning Shift: 6:45 AM-8:30 AM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM-5:30 PM

Compensation
