Young Mens Christian Association of Northwest Nort in North Carolina is seeking an Academy Counselor to supervise and guide children before and after school, fostering character development within a structured youth portfolio. Qualifications

High school education or equivalent; must obtain health/safety certifications within 30 days of employment.
Up to one month of related youth development or recreation experience preferred.

Responsabilités

Lead children in daily before and after school activities and supervise aquatic activities.
Build professional relationships with school personnel, staff, and parents and participate in Parent Advisory Committee meetings.
Maintain accurate daily site records (attendance, food service logs, emergency forms, reports).
Coordinate site setups, report damaged equipment, follow HEPA health and safety standards, and execute emergency procedures.
Attend staff meetings, complete team assignments, and engage in ongoing training to align with policies.
