Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Park Elementary School in Columbia, PA for the 2026–2027 school year. You will lead activities, supervise staff, and ensure licensing compliance.

This part-time role follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts and includes employer-paid childcare benefits. Strong leadership and communication skills are required alongside relevant education and experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations
• Maintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsite
• Keep the program organized and audit-ready
• Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support)
• Actively supervise children and staff, including playground oversight
• Maintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management
• Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling
• Serve as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office
• Communicate clearly and professionally using the Playground App
