Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Site Director in Malden, MA to lead an after-school program that supports students with a structured, high-energy environment and a strong focus on safety.

You will manage day-to-day operations (schedules, staffing, documentation), oversee curriculum implementation, ensure licensing compliance, coach the site team, engage families and school staff, and partner with AlphaBEST leadership to deliver a positive, high-quality experience for students.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred.
• Experience in team leadership and supervision preferred.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

Responsibilities

• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
