Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader to assist with extended day, summer, and enrichment programs at multiple CA locations. You will lead groups of children through structured activities, ensure safety, and support learning beyond the school day in a fun, engaging environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and flexibility, with shifts Monday through Friday and no weekend work. Opportunities to interact with families and school staff are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 semester units or equivalent in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
