Job summary

YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids is seeking Before and After School Program Teachers to create a safe and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, supervising children, and maintaining attendance records.

This position requires availability from 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM and/or 2:15 PM - 6:00 PM Monday - Friday. Compensation ranges from $15.21 to $19.01 per hour, with part-time hours up to 25 per week.

Qualifications

6 months to 1 year of youth development-related experience.
Ability to interact with individuals of various backgrounds.
Ability and desire to work with school-age children.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and leading daily lesson plans.
Prepare materials for daily activities.
Maintain attendance and record-keeping.
Supervise children during program hours.

Skills
