Job summary

Jovie in Illinois is seeking part-time after-school caregivers to join our team and help families with pickups, transport, homework, and activities. The role fits around classes and offers competitive pay, with weekday afternoons and weekend options.

You'll support children in a safe, engaging environment, preparing light snacks and helping with routines while coordinating scheduling via a smartphone for families.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of childcare experience (babysitting, nannying, daycare, teaching, or similar).
• A positive, dependable, and caring attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Comfort using a smartphone for scheduling and communication.

Responsibilities

• Pick children up from school or the bus stop.

A Schedule That Works for You

Our after-school positions are perfect for students looking to work weekday afternoons.

Typical Schedule

• Monday-Friday: approximately 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
• Some families need before-school care from 6:00-8:00am
• Weekend sitter jobs also available

What You'll Do
