Job summary

Leading Edge Extended Learning is seeking Part-Time Lead Teachers for both our Before & After School Programs in Colorado Springs for the 2026–2027 school year. You will help create a safe, engaging environment and support students before and after school.

This role offers meaningful, part-time work with opportunities to grow into future leadership roles; start as Lead Teacher with morning and/or afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with school-age children in education, licensed child care, recreation, camps, youth programs, or similar settings preferred.
• Must meet Colorado State Child Care Licensing qualifications for a Lead Teacher.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and actively engage with school-age students.
• Lead games, crafts, STEM projects, physical activities, and other enrichment experiences.
• Build positive relationships with students and help create a sense of belonging.
• Mentor and support students with homework and academic activities.
• Collaborate with Site Director and team members.
• Communicate positively with families and school staff.
• Assist with attendance, documentation, and program organization.
