Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader Assistant to support before- and after-school programs at Indian Head Elementary School and JC Parks Elementary School.

In this role you’ll assist with daily activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while encouraging positive peer interactions and keeping safety first. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certification, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and 3–6 months of childcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3-6 months experience in a childcare educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily curriculum activities and supervise children in a structured, high-energy environment.
• Prioritize child safety and follow procedures at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for kids, families, and staff.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, children, and school staff.
