YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is hiring for a Site Director to lead our Before and After School programs in the South Region, Indianapolis, IN. You will oversee staff, support behavior guidance, and ensure safe, engaging activities for students.

The role requires organizing programs, maintaining family communication, and upholding YMCA core values of caring, honesty, responsibility and respect while delivering meaningful, inclusive experiences.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be at least 21 years old.
• 2–4 years’ experience working directly with children.
• Ability to recognize social-emotional, cognitive and physical milestones.
• Experience supervising children and staff and handling parent conflicts.
• Capable of building positive relationships with families and staff.

• Direct the Before & After School program operations in Indianapolis.

Position Overview

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is currently filling positions throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas for our Before and After School programs. SITE DIRECTORS are responsible for the management and leadership of the program. This includes developing a staff team, providing behavior management support for students, maintaining communication between staff and families in the program, and creating innovative, inclusive lesson plans to help students learn and grow every day. They help in fostering social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth along with demonstrate the core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect with program participants. This position requires high levels of organization, energy, and fun.

Qualifications
