Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator to work with students at participating schools. You will lead activities, facilitate a safe and structured environment, and build relationships while gaining experience in education and child development.

You will help with daily routines, homework support, and collaborative planning with staff. The role offers part-time hours, engagement with families, and opportunities to impact children’s learning and well-being.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel during a shift.
• Excellent customer service and communication with children and adults.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule.
• Work on-site at schools and participate in program activities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in students, take attendance, and maintain records.
• Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons.
• Support with homework tasks as needed.
• Supervise during free play, snack time, and transitions.
• Address minor conflicts with positive guidance.
• Communicate with parents at pick-up/drop-off.
• Log incidents and safety concerns to supervisor.
• Set up and clean up program space daily.
• Attend brief daily team meetings.
