Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for the Before and After School Program at Columbia Middle School Taylor Campus for the 2026–2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar with morning and afternoon sessions, providing care, activities, and supervision for ages 5–12.

The position offers an engaging, mission-driven environment with opportunities for growth, background checks, and a supportive team. Part-time hours align to the school day.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience working with children under 13.
• Pass a full background check including fingerprinting and reference checks.
• Medically fit to perform job duties including a clear TB.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Certain positions may perform management functions such as attendance records, registration, and staffing.
