Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Crothersville Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts.

You will facilitate activities, support classroom routines, and help children learn through play while maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
• Health clearance including TB screening as per state regulations
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, reliability
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children

Responsabilités

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, etc.) and homework completion
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model
• Observe state guidelines and program/host school policies
• Support program operations including attendance records, registration, and staffing
