Charter Schools USA Inc. is seeking a Before & After Care Worker to support a safe, positive environment for students before and after school. You will assist in maintaining order in cafeterias and playgrounds, supervise children, and ensure smooth sign-in and dismissal processes.

The role emphasizes creating a welcoming setting, providing snacks, helping with homework, and resolving conflicts with students and parents in alignment with CSUSA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred.
• Must like children.
• Commitment to company values.
• Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain orderly, safe, and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground and in other designated locations.
• Supervise students during before and after care programs.
• Follow proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care and After Care.
• Monitor students and observe who enters and leaves childcare areas.
• Pass out snacks and engage with students on the playground.
• Tutor and assist students with homework when needed.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
