Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is hiring a Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly atmosphere in the cafeteria, playground, and other designated areas, supervising students during before/after school programs in line with CSUSA policies. The role supports student well-being, assists with homework, and ensures smooth operations during program hours at CSUSA schools in Louisiana.

A high school diploma is required, prior daycare or camp experience is preferred, and the candidate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor, preferred.
• Must like children.
• Commitment to company values.
• Such alternatives to the above requirements as CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsabilités

• This position is in the public eye and program assistants must reflect a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Candidates must resolve conflicts with children and parents, be firm but friendly, and courteous with parents and colleagues.
• Follows proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care and After Care.
• Monitors students and supervises activities on playground and in designated areas.
• Assists students with homework and passes out snacks.
