Job summary

Elco Child Care Center is seeking a teacher's assistant for its before/after-school program in Myerstown, PA. You will help escort children, supervise activities, and support daily routines.

Responsibilities include snack preparation, safe transport to/from the district bus, engaging children in fun activities, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while interacting with families and staff. Work hours range from 15–30 hours per week, with additional opportunities on school closures, late

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass state background checks.
• References/experience with school-age children preferred.
• Health assessment and TB test required.

Requirements:

• Pass state-mandated background checks.
• Documented References/Experience with school-age children.
• Pass the Health Assessment & TB test.

Position:

• 15-30 hrs. weekly (example hours 6:30-9:30 and/or 3:00-5:00).
• Extra hours available (example: School Closures, Late Starts, Early Dismissals, Preschool Teacher Substitute).
