Job summary

Cinemark is hiring for a Server - Beer and Wine. You will guide guests in ordering food and beverages, greet guests, and provide menu knowledge to enhance the movie-going experience. This role may cross-train as Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities include accurate order taking, cash handling, age verification for alcohol, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while delivering efficient counter service.

Qualifications

• Proof of age required for serving/alcohol (18+ and in some states 21+)
• Basic food handling training and any local/state required certifications
• Safe Alcohol Service training program completion for team members serving alcohol
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Regular and consistent attendance required
• Energetic, friendly attitude during every shift
• Excellent guest service and accurate cash handling
• Strong English communication (verbal and written) with all ages and personalities
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions
• Sense of urgency in tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests promptly and professionally
• Know bar and menu items to enhance the guest experience
• Record food and beverage orders accurately
• Handle register transactions with proper cash balance and logging
• Verify guest ages for alcohol transactions
• Ensure alcohol is served in designated areas
• Use suggestive selling techniques
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness of high-contact areas
• Follow PPE and safety protocols
• Adapt to cleaning task requirements and staffing needs
• Report safety or security concerns to management
• Perform other duties as assigned
