Job summary

Cinemark is hiring for a Server - Beer and Wine. You will guide Guests in ordering food and beverages, provide menu knowledge, and deliver fast counter service.

This role may cross-train as Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher depending on staffing needs. Key responsibilities include greeting Guests, handling orders and transactions accurately, verifying IDs for alcohol, and collaborating with the kitchen to ensure order accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must provide age proof per state laws.
• Completes local food handling certification where required.
• Must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Energetic, friendly attitude and excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math.
• Fluent English communication.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to take direction and respond with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the Guest experience.
• Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner.
• Handle all transactions on the assigned register with accuracy and accountability.
• Verify guest age for alcohol transactions and ensure proper ID checks.
• Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure accurate food orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-touch areas and proper PPE usage.
• Adapt to cleaning task frequency and scope as required.
• Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
