Lowes Foods is seeking a Beer Den/Wine Clerk to engage guests, educate on beer and wine, manage inventory, and uphold brand standards at the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines. You will perform tastings, help with product selection, and ensure signage and pricing are accurate.

The role requires strong guest service, compliance with state laws, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods. Candidate must be 21+ and able to work collaboratively with store teams.

Qualifikationen

• Working understanding of beer and wine.
• Familiarity with ALE laws governing sale and purchase of beer and wine.
• Sales-minded with effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Self-motivated, trustworthy and able to adhere to guidelines.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Ability to communicate with Store Manager, DSD Receiver and vendors.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Aufgaben

• Educate guests on beer and wine attributes and guide for needs.
• Ensure marketing materials, signage, prices and flyers are properly displayed and maintained.
• Maintain sanitation and appearance of the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines.
• Coordinate with category managers and suppliers on pricing and product selection.
• Train other Beer Den/Wine clerks and ensure information is available to hosts.
• Conduct tastings in-store and for promotions/demos.
• Follow state laws governing sampling, sale and purchase of beer and wine.
• Wash and prepare growlers; fill growlers on request following standards.
• Maintain inventory of growlers, glass, lids and related supplies.
• Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
