Qualifications

• Knowledge of beer and wine attributes and sell-through.
• Familiar with ALE laws governing beer and wine sales.
• Sales-minded with guest service and selling skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to engage guests.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on beer and wine attributes and assist with selections.
• Display and maintain Beer Den/Sunmill Wines materials and signage.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines area.
• Manage pricing, product selection with category managers and suppliers.
• Train other Beer Den/Wine clerks and ensure information is accurate for hosts.
• Conduct tastings and in-store demos/promotions as needed.
• Follow ALE laws governing sampling, sale and purchase.
• Wash and prepare growlers and fill orders per standards.
• Maintain inventory of growlers, glassware and supplies.
• Announce specials on the PA system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
