Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Beverage Clerk to educate guests on beer and wine, maintain fresh displays, and support sales through service and tastings. You will work with store teams to ensure proper pricing and product selection, and you will help train other beverage clerks to keep information accurate for hosts and guests.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on beer and wine attributes to meet preferences.
• Ensure display, signage, prices, and promotional materials are current.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Beer Den/Sunmill Wines & Box Car area.
• Collaborate with managers and suppliers on pricing and selection.
• Train fellow Beverage Clerks and share accurate information for hosts.
• Conduct tastings and in-store demos per guidelines and promotions.
• Follow state laws governing sampling, sale, and purchasing of beer and wine.
• Wash and prepare growlers; fill growlers accurately.
• Manage inventory of growlers, glassware, lids, and supplies.
• Announce specials and sale information over the PA system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
