Job summary

Premium Distributors of VA is seeking a full-time merchandiser to travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets in the Gloucester, VA area. The role involves stocking, displaying and rotating products on assigned routes, with travel between backrooms and store floors using manual equipment.

A monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement supplement the $19.00 per hour base pay, with weekends required. Qualifications include 18+ years old, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation,

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old or meet state age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation with valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs for keg handling or pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, maintain, display and rotate products on assigned routes.
• Transport products between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company systems for routing, compliance and account monitoring; document execution with photos.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and product freshness.
• Perform additional projects or duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes

• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck

• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring

• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts

• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness

• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.

• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.

• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools

• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
