Job summary

Superior Beverage Group in Youngstown, OH, is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our full-time team. This role focuses on building displays, rotating beverages for freshness, and supporting Account Managers and Delivery Drivers in daily sales and merchandising tasks.

The position requires effective communication, willingness to work a fast-paced, physical environment, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Account Managers and Delivery Drivers to execute sales and merchandising plans.
• Daily execution of sales support initiatives including building displays, placing POS, rotating products, and ensuring proper pricing.
• Utilize current, thematic POS when building and maintaining displays.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retailers to promote a positive Company image.
• Address inquiries and resolves issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Understand and promote proper shelf space management according to Company standards and ensure correct pricing and merchandising.
• Complete daily assignments efficiently.
• Communicate pricing discrepancies to account manager, regional director, and pricing coordinator promptly.

Sales Support Specialist Schedule

Monday - Friday 1st shift

Qualifications

Sales Support Specialist Typical Duties:

• Effectively coordinates with Account Managers and Delivery Drivers to execute sales and merchandising plans.
• Responsible for daily execution of sales support initiatives including, but not limited to, building displays, placing POS, rotating products, and ensuring proper pricing.
• Utilizes current, thematic POS when building and maintaining displays.
• Develops and maintains relationships with retailers to promote a positive Company image.
• Addresses inquiries and resolves issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Understands and promotes proper shelf space management according to Company standards. Ensures products are properly priced, rotated, and merchandised.
• Works efficiently to complete all daily assignments.
• Checks account pricing and communicate discrepancies to account manager, regional director, and/or pricing coordinator in a timely manner.

Sales Support Specialist Skills / Qualifications:

• Previous sales and/or relevant work experience preferred
• Ability to effectively persuade and influence others
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of customer service standards
• Use of basic hand tools and equipment dolly
• Ability to maneuver 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases on a regular basis
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and auto Insurance
