Job summary

Lowes Foods in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Meat & Seafood Team Member to provide excellent guest service, prepare knife-ready products, and maintain freshness and safety in the department. You will use selling skills and merchandising to create a welcoming, high-energy selling environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, pricing, rotating products, assisting with receiving, maintaining sanitation, issuing announcements, and supporting management with department needs.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal and selling skills with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others and provide friendly guest interactions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.

• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.

• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with meat/seafood and in the prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Maintains high quality and freshness with products available for sale. Ensures all products are in date.
• Communicates shrink issues to management.
• Communicates guest requests/concerns to management.
• M*akes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
