Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, is hiring General Production positions at its Long Prairie, MN plant. The roles include Harvest and Fabrication, with shifts on day shift and overtime possible.

Tasks involve meat processing, using specialized tools, and strict adherence to safety and food safety standards. We offer competitive pay from $19.65 to $25.00 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet) around moving equipment with PPE.
• Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work extended hours Monday through Saturday with overtime as production needs dictate.
• Must complete required trainings: Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, Food defense.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in a warm, hot, humid or wet environment.
• Use knives, hooks or specialized equipment as needed.
• Perform physical tasks with upper body strength and repetitive movements.
• Stand on hard surfaces; wear PPE in all areas.
• Follow food safety policies and safety procedures; promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with a diverse workforce; may perform other related duties as needed.
