JBS Foods is seeking a Ground Beef Maintenance Superintendent at the Plainwell facility to lead the Ground Beef Operations Maintenance Electronics Department. You will provide leadership for maintenance operations, drive equipment reliability, and advance food safety initiatives while supporting continuous improvement across the department.

Key responsibilities include safeguarding safety, promoting a food safety mindset, and coaching team members for succession planning.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of maintenance experience in the food industry.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Above-average computer proficiency.
• PLC troubleshooting, editing, and programming experience required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safety for self and subordinates.
• Create and promote a food safety mindset throughout the team.
• Oversee maintenance support for daily operations.
• Oversee maintenance breakdowns and help develop root cause prevention plans.
• Support the processes and policies established by the Maintenance Department and company policies.
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide coaching and development for team members to support succession planning and strengthen the department.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure shift events and key information are communicated effectively during shift transitions.
• Create and audit procedures for preventive maintenance work orders.
