Qualifications

• Experience with reproductive technologies (estrous synchronization, artificial insemination, ultrasonography) preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cattle duties in all facets of a cow/calf operation.
• Manage pastures, heifers, bulls, and stocker cattle.
• Assist in the design, planning, and coordination of experiments.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self-starter

Ability to operate tractors and equipment

Experience in haying operations

Ability to pen cattle

Strong interpersonal skills

Education

BS degree in a relevant field
