Job summary

VCNY Home is seeking a Bedding Designer (Textile) to create unique bedding designs from concept to finished product. You will work closely with Sales, Merchandising and Production to translate vision into duvet covers, quilts and decorative pieces.

The role requires onsite work four days a week in North Bergen, NJ, with strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Ned Graphics, and familiarity with PLM systems. A bias toward collaboration and timely delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Textile Design or related field.
• 5+ years of textile design experience in home furnishings or fashion.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator and Ned Graphics.
• Experience using AI tools to aid in renderings and design mock-ups.
• Familiarity with product development and production processes.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Create unique and original designs for wovens, embroideries, and prints.
• Translate product vision into bedding designs for duvet covers, quilts, and decor.
• Maintain understanding of fabrications, construction, and techniques.
• Render bed looks using Adobe Creative Suite and AI tools.
• Follow development calendar to meet timelines and approvals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising and Production teams.
