Qualifications

• Experience in bed management or hospital operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates bed assignments across units to support patient flow.
• Facilitates admissions calls from attending physician offices and reviews orders affecting bed placement.
• Collects data for zone alerts on admissions, discharges, and bed availability.
• Collates data from Teletracking to support the daily bed meeting template.
• Escalates bed management issues to a registered nurse.
• Obtains and records information to ensure accuracy of death certificates when applicable.
• Performs related duties as required under the ADA.
