Responsibilities

• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate bed placement and ensure a safe patient experience.
• Liaises between patient care services to assign appropriate beds and execute care plans.
• Applies clinical judgment and technical proficiency to all placement decisions.
• Manages real-time patient volume and eliminates bed flow delays.
• Assigns beds based on medical necessity, acuity, and care hours while respecting infection control protocols.
• Ensures EMTALA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards during placement.
