Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate bed assignments and oversee patient transfers, ensuring efficient throughput and optimal bed placement.

The role requires collaboration with ED, inpatient units, physicians, and administration, leveraging EPIC EMR and strong problem-solving to determine the best care pathway for each patient.

Qualificações

• BSN required.
• 3–5 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
• Experience in critical care or emergency/trauma preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• RN license in Georgia and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital to optimize patient flow.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen, and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with physician offices, ED, inpatient units, surgical services and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow.
• Use problem solving and customer service skills to determine the best course of action for patient, physician, and hospital.
