Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a Footwear Product Designer on a contract basis to drive high-performance cleated footwear concepts from concept to retail. This role emphasizes independent project management, strong concept building, and expertise with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Portfolios required with submissions; candidates will be disqualified without.
• 7+ years' experience minimum preferred in a footwear designer role.
• Ability to handle projects independently that are technical and performance-driven.
• Strong concept building skills.
• Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Flexibility/maturity to pivot and prioritize responsibilities as needed.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ideation & Visioning - Generates new ways of thinking about aspects of performance based products that result in growth opportunities and competitive advantages in the marketplace.
• Develops ideas that are consistent with the vision for new products by collaborating with product creation on the genesis of new product concepts for all business units.
• Research/Engineering - Defines protocol and establishes scope of testing required to prove and validate a concept. Develops concrete insights feeding into development of advanced product concepts through new technologies or construction processes.
• Project Management - Leads innovation projects turning concept ideation into reality by working in, or with, multi-disciplinary teams to include product creation, manufacturing, and 3rd party vendors.
