Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Beauty & Wellness Consultant to deliver exceptional customer care and expert beauty guidance in-store. You will demonstrate products, run mini-makeovers, and support brand launches while maintaining cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere across the beauty department.

The role emphasizes strong customer relationships, flexible scheduling, and collaboration with store leadership to meet sales goals and promote Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of experience in a retail sales environment or actively selling beauty/cosmetics with customer care.
• Ability to work with little supervision and escalate issues when necessary.
• Knowledge of beauty products/brands to engage customers.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
• Basic PC/tablet skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Proactively identify customer needs and explain options.
• Demonstrate products using tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Lead in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty.
• Maintain department hygiene and organize the beauty area.
• Engage with omni-channel solutions to enhance customer engagement.
• Locate products in other stores or online when unavailable.
