Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty Consultant to maximize sales and deliver exceptional customer care in its beauty department across U.S. stores. You will showcase expertise in products, provide skincare consultations, and host mini-makeovers to inspire customers’ total look.

The role emphasizes brand standards, customer experience, and collaboration with store leadership to achieve sales goals. A strong retail background in beauty and a flexible schedule are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of experience in retail sales or selling beauty/cosmetic products with customer care.
• Experience working with minimal supervision and taking initiative to achieve objectives.
• Knowledge of beauty products and brands to meet customer needs.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
• Basic PC/tablet skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Demonstrates customer care best practices by asking questions to determine needs and informing customers of options.
• Greets and engages customers to identify needs and guide them to appropriate products, with warm transfers when needed.
• Provides expertise through product demonstrations and consultations using tools like Skin Hydrometer and a tablet.
• Leads in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty across Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
