Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty & Wellness Consultant to maximize sales and deliver exceptional customer care in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers with products and services, perform skincare consultations, and contribute to in-store events that boost brand awareness and customer loyalty.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year in retail or cosmetics sales, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with retail sales experience or beauty/cosmetics sales.
• Ability to work with little supervision and meet objectives.
• Knowledge of products/brands to meet customer needs.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking English.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Basic PC/tablet skills.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues for a positive experience.
• Proactively offering assistance, asking questions to determine needs, and informing customers of options.
• Greets, listens, engages customers to identify needs and provide appropriate products; redirection to other store areas as needed.
• Provides product demonstrations and consultations using tools like the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Leads and delivers in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty of Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
• Builds relationships with customers and provides authentic closure of interactions.
