Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty Consultant to enhance customer experience in the beauty department. You will greet customers, offer product guidance, and perform mini-makeovers and skincare consultations to improve satisfaction and loyalty.

You will demonstrate products, manage events, and help customers navigate omni-channel options. The role requires knowledge of beauty products, strong sales skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; selling beauty products and meeting sales goals
• Ability to develop goals with minimal supervision and escalate when needed
• Knowledge of products/brands to meet customer needs
• Experience building relationships within a team
• Basic PC/tablet skills; flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends/holidays
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience
• Demonstrate products and provide consultations using tools like Skin Hydrometer
• Lead in-store events to promote brands and loyalty
• Build relationships and close customer interactions effectively
• Support omni-channel engagement and locate products across stores or online
• Maintain department hygiene, stock testers, and comply with policies
