Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty & Wellness Consultant to deliver exceptional customer care in-store, including mini-makeovers and skincare consultations. You will demonstrate products, educate customers on beauty trends, and support omni-channel engagement while maintaining department standards.

The role requires an ability to meet sales goals, work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations for total look improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; at least 1 year in retail or beauty product sales with sales goals.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage objectives.
• Knowledge of beauty products/brands to engage customers and meet needs.
• Basic PC/tablet skills necessary for transactions and training modules.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Demonstrate products and provide consultations; use demonstrations like Skin Hydrometer.
• Lead in-store beauty events to promote Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness.
• Build relationships with customers and provide follow-up interactions.
• Assist customers with omni-channel engagement and product location across stores/online.
• Maintain department standards, stock testers, and uphold hygiene rules.
• Process sales at the register and participate in meetings about programs and promotions.
