Job summary

Belk is seeking a Team Beauty Lead to drive store results through personal client relationships and a passion for cosmetics, beauty, and fragrance trends. You will lead a team, execute promotions and events, and provide exceptional customer experiences across beauty brands.

You will build product knowledge, use clienteling tools for omni-channel engagement, and support inventory accuracy while maintaining a positive store culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience and a dedication to customer service excellence.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers; lift at least 40 lbs.
• Associates must maintain professional licenses/certifications as required by state/local boards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve store objectives and metrics.
• Build memorable store experiences through relationships with team, vendors, customers, and community.
• Lead team in customer service, drive sales, and execute promotions and events.
• Develop product knowledge and suggestive selling to engage customers and drive repeat visits.
• Support onboarding and ongoing learning to enhance team selling skills and performance.
• Leverage clienteling tools for personalized omnichannel experiences and support omni processes.
• Assist with merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining store cleanliness to meet visual standards.
• Coordinate with store leaders to align schedules with business needs and events.
• Demonstrate adaptability to evolving business needs and inventory controls.
• Lead inventory accuracy and shrink control, including price changes and item transfers.
