Job summary

Target Beauty Studio is hiring a Beauty Studio Advisor to deliver personalized recommendations and service-led experiences for guests. You will showcase beauty expertise, manage product demos, and build routines that fit guests' lifestyles and budgets.

You will use product knowledge, demonstrations, and friendly interactions to drive loyalty, basket size and sales growth while maintaining a clean, organized environment and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 12+ months beauty retail experience preferred
• Strong interest and knowledge of beauty and skincare products
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequencies devices and operate handheld scanners
• Effective communication skills
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
• Greet guests at various distances and initiate warm interactions
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support teammates and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy experience
• Ask open-ended questions to provide appropriate recommendations and drive sales
• Keep product organized, in stock, signed correctly, and displays updated
• Maintain testers and sampling supplies and update floor merchandise displays
• Participate in weekly training on newness, trends, product knowledge and guest engagement techniques
• Familiarize with prestige product ingredients and benefits; use training resources
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance at all times
• Work safely and report hazards as required
• All other duties as needed
