Nordstrom Inc. in the Beauty Department is seeking a passionate Beauty Advisor to create personalized experiences for customers, driving sales across on-trend and luxury beauty brands.

You’ll engage clients, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and build a following both in-store and online. Ideal candidates are trend-driven, with strong communication and multitasking skills, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty including trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively handle concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Empathy and respect for all customers, providing a supportive environment during makeup/skincare application.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products based on customer goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using available tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay updated on beauty trends, products, and trainings from Nordstrom and brand partners.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges and build customer loyalty via Nordstrom Rewards.
