Job summary

Ulta Beauty, the leading beauty retailer, is seeking a General Manager to lead a store (including the salon) and deliver top-line sales growth through people, process, and performance. You will recruit, train, and develop a diverse team, manage operations, inventory, and guest service excellence while upholding Ulta Beauty standards.

The GM will drive profitability, optimize scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies, while delivering a high-quality guest experience and brand

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of fast-paced, retail management or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: success with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Retail management: proven ability with monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandising directives.
• Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change and leading others through the change-curve.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed Ulta Beauty’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Lead scheduling to maximize productivity within payroll budgets.
• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Ensure staff training and development to enable ongoing performance improvements.
