The role focuses on mentoring a junior team and coordinating client collateral, with a hybrid schedule—two days in the NYC office. A track record of high-impact placements and strong writing are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of relevant experience in agency or fast-paced startup, preferably in beauty, lifestyle or CPG.
• You have secured top-tier press placements and have clips to prove it.
• You are a skilled writer who crafts pitches and copy with clarity and cleverness.
• You thrive in relationships with media, colleagues, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain warm relationships with consumer media across print, digital, social, Substacks, podcasts, and broadcast to secure regular placements.
• Help develop strategies to earn placements in social media channels and create compelling pitch angles.
• Lead the creation of client collateral, press materials, and image assets; draft press releases and pitches.
• Oversee media coverage monitoring, tracking and client reporting.
• Mentor junior team members to develop into future leaders.
• Support senior team in executing media strategy and client initiatives.
